For those of you who are using Facebook Messenger on your Android devices, check out the Play Store for an update because the latest version now allows you to doodle on pictures before sending them.
If you’re on the latest version of Facebook Messenger on Android, just attach a picture like you normally do and you’ll see a new edit button. Tap on that and you’ll be given two tools – one to add text and another for you to show off your creativity. After you make these edits, just send the picture that tells a little more than a thousand words.
The update is available for Android only (for now at least) and can be downloaded on the Google Play Store immediately. Facebook Messenger has been making headlines over the past couple of weeks because of some privacy issue but like it or not, the social network is forcing users to jump on its dedicated messaging app by removing messaging feature on its main app.
If you have Facebook Messenger, be it on Android or on iOS, do learn how to turn off location sharing because it’s on by default and it allows anyone (even those who are NOT on your friends list), to see your exact location.
