True to its promise last May, Microsoft today has launched the brand new Surface Pro 3 in Malaysia. Marketed as the tablet that is able to replace user’s laptop, selected number of retailer has actually begun taking pre-orders for Surface Pro 3 since 1 July.
As the launch event today is more about formalities, there are no changes to the pricing information that Microsoft Malaysia has unveiled in June. For the benefit of our readers that might have missed the news, here is the pricing of Surface Pro 3 in Malaysia:
– Intel® Core™ i3, 64 GB and 4 GB of RAM: RM2,729
– Intel® Core™ i5, 128 GB and 4 GB of RAM: RM3,299
– Intel® Core™ i5, 256 GB and 8 GB of RAM: RM4,199
– Intel® Core™ i7, 256 GB and 8 GB of RAM: RM4,999
– Intel® Core™ i7, 512 GB and 8 GB of RAM: RM6,779
Just like previous Surface products, do note that the price above is only for the tablet alone as the Type Cover for Surface Pro 3 is available separate for RM 409. Consumers are able to obtain the tablet as well as related accessories through eight retailers chain nationwide, namely: Aone Plus Supplies & Services, Harvey Norman, Machanics, PC Image, Senheng / SenQ Digital Station, SNS Network, Thunder Match, and Viewnet.
