Kaspersky Lab has announced the release of its latest range of security software for home users: Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2015, Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 – Multi-Device.
The latest version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2015 claims to battle the latest malware and like the other variants, also includes an automatic exploit protection system. This new system also is designed to fish out cryptomalware, which encrypts user data and demand a ransom before the data is restored to the owner. To counter that, Kaspersky Lab has a built-in feature called System Watcher that regains access for information without having to actually pay the ransom. It analyses all processes running on the OS and now features new data backup functionality.

On the other hand, Kaspersky Internet Security provides optimal PC protection to protect users from all kinds of Internet threats. Furthermore, it also enables parents to monitor their children’s activity on the Web with the help of the Parental Control feature. Kaspersky has also added a WiFi Security Notification module that alerts users of any potential threats or suspicious network activity while connected to unfamiliar public WiFi connections.
Kaspersky Internet Security – Multi Device is a multi-platform integrated security solution which allows you to use Karspersky software on Windows and OS X PCs, as well as mobile devices running Android, Windows Phone, and iOS. The main menu and the interface has been unified across all product from the different OS platforms for easier usability.
In addition, Kaspersky’s 2015 products also features an update to Safe Money, preventing third party applications from accessing the web browser clipboard that may contain user’s automatic login credentials. Kaspersky also introduces a new feature called Cost-Aware Networking that conserves the amount of data used by the product.
According to Kaspersky’s research, an Internet user’s biggest concerns are their privacy and identity, personal data, finances and their children’s safety. With the updated product line, Kaspersky Lab hopes to rid the Internet community of increasingly sophisticated online threats.
