Among all BlackBerry devices that were released into the market over the past few years, there were a number of them that were priced way higher than the rest. Of course, what we meant by that are the BlackBerry devices that were crafted by Porsche Design such as the P’9981 and P’9982.
As the popularity of BlackBerry has significantly waned down, one might believe that such premium device have no place in our market at this moment. Well, guess what…Porsche Design is already working on its next BlackBerry device according to this particular set of leaks.
Internally referred to via its codename Khan, the device is expected to be called P’9983 (no surprise there) and will become the first BlackBerry 10-based device from Porsche Design. Specs-wise, the device might be equipped with a 3.5-inch display, 1.7GHz dual-core CPU, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Draped in matte black, the source pointed out that the device will also feature carbon and steel within its physical design. If you somehow are already interested in getting your hands on the device, get ready to fork around USD 2,000 (RM 6,322) later this year as it is expected to be released into the market just before Christmas 2014.
So, what do you think of this BlackBerry Khan/P’9983 by Porsche Design? Is the RM 6000 price justified? Let us know what you think of the upcoming smartphone through the comment section below.
