“The Soccer Bot Challenge is open to public and we encourage anyone who has zero to minimal skills in robotics, from the ages of 10 and above to take part in the tournament to experience the “cool” factor about robotics,” said the Head of Technology Hub Development Division of Cyberview, Mohd Nazri Tumin.

According to him, the ambition of the initiative is to build an interest in basic school subjects such as mathematics and science among the youngsters. With these subjects, younger generations would excel in areas of demanding technologies such as computer programming, network engineering, and robotics engineering to name a handful. In turn, the next generation of innovators, scientist, engineers and programmers will be developed to meet the talent demands in the future.
