Maxis has recently added two new devices to its phone bundles, allowing subscribers to get brand new phones for free when they sign up for a contract. The telco is now offering the HTC Desire 210 and the Sony Xperia E1 with one of its MaxisONE Plans from as low as RM78/month.
First up, retailing at RM399, the HTC Desire 210 is a low-end Android phone from HTC featuring a 4” 480 x 800 display. Announced about a month ago, It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor with 512MB of RAM on board and 4GB of expandable storage. Other specs includes a 5MP rear camera, VGA front shooter, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.0 and 1300mAh battery.

The Sony Xperia E1 on the other hand is a RM459 device that was announced earlier this year along with the Xperia T2 phablet. It packs your typical entry-level specs under its 4” 480 x 800 display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of expandable storage on board, but the selling point of this device is its 100Db speakers with ClearAudio+ and xLoud technologies on board, allowing for a crystal-clear sound quality. Other specs include a 3MP rear camera, HSPA+ connectivity, 1700mAh battery and runs on Android 4.3 out of the box.
