If you’re using desktop-only Premium plan for Deezer, be prepared to feel very special because Deezer has officially removed that option for new users. New users subscribing for Deezer may only pick the free option or a Premium+ plan, a paid ad-free version for both web and mobile.
Previously, the desktop-only Premium account for Deezer cost £4.99 a month, offering an ad-free music stream for desktop users. Now, Deezer is only offering its service in two tiers: Free and Premium+ that costs £9.99 a month, or RM7.45/month for Malaysian users at a time-limited offer (usual price is RM14.90/month).
According to TheNextWeb, the Premium option was removed for new customers on 10 July 2014, but existing users who are using that option may continue to remain on it if they want. Deezer removed the option because they feel that the demand for a web-only premium service is no longer required.
Deezer is a music streaming service that is available on both web and mobile. You can sign up to Deezer and listen for free, but if you would like an ad-free experience, you may sign up for Premium+ account at RM7.45 a month. If you are a DiGi subscriber, you might even be able to get a premium account for free so visit Deezer to sign up now or visit DiGi to find out more about their offers.
