Heads up, Nokia Lumia owners; the much awaited Lumia Cyan update is now on its way to you. First announced at Microsoft Build Developers Conference earlier this year, Lumia Cyan is packed with improvements and new features specifically made for Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices alongside the Windows Phone 8.1 upgrade.
However, the update is currently being roll out in stages which means that not everyone are going to receive Lumia Cyan at the same time.
For the Malaysian market, the update is currently available only for Lumia 925 and Lumia 625 at the moment as listed on Nokia’s official website (shown below). Of course, that’s not counting the new Lumia 630 and Lumia 930 which already equipped with Lumia Cyan as standard.
At this moment, Microsoft Malaysia has yet to confirm any release timeline of Lumia Cyan for other Lumia models. Nevertheless, you can always check out the update’s availability status through the Settings > Phone Update section within your Lumia device.
