The Sony Xperia Z2 may be relatively new in the market but make way for the next flagship smartphone from the Japanese company. More pictures of the alleged Sony Xperia Z3 have been making their way around the internet over the past couple of days and if it’s something you’ve been waiting for, hit the break to check them out.
If you’re feeling a little disappointed because the device looks just like the Xperia Z1 and Z2, don’t; how big of a design change were you expecting for a flagship device that gets refreshed twice a year anyway? While it may look the same, it is powered by a more powerful processor Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC chipset – the Z2 uses a MSM8974AB processor. According to the pictures, the Z3 will run on Android 4.4.4 and looking at the photo that places the Z3 next to the original Samsung Galaxy Note, the display should remain at 5.2” so keep your fingers crossed that it’ll be a 2K display.
As noted by Engadget, from the pictures, it looks like the device has a simpler design though, I personally can’t seem to spot the difference. Finally, like the existing Z2, this device should have the same 20.7MP rear camera and hopefully a lot more improvements on the software side. Are you looking forward to the Xperia Z3?
