Xiaomi Malaysia will be lining up its largest flash sale to date, and it’s happening tomorrow. It will most likely not be able to satisfy all demand, but with a total of 28,000 products available tomorrow, the products should last longer than 35 seconds before being sold out this time around.
For tomorrow’s sale, Xiaomi will be offering 8,000 Mi 3, 10,000 units of the 10,400mAh Mi Power Bank and 5,000 more of the 5,200mAh Mi Power Bank. Oh, and there’s 5,000 sets of the new Redmi 1S, too, bringing the total number of products sold tomorrow at a cool 28,000. To put that in perspective, the amount of transactions tomorrow will total up in excess of RM8.7 million – RM8,732,000, to be exact.
The highlight, this time, is with the Redmi 1S. It’s the first time that Xiaomi will be selling the Redmi smartphone in the country, and chances are, this may prove to be a hit just like the Mi 3. With a specs list that includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.6GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 4.7-inch 720p IPS display, 8MP rear and 1.3MP front-facing cameras, it will likely provide competition to the RM499 Huawei Honor 3C. The Redmi 1S product page is also up on mi.com/my late Friday evening ahead of its availability here tomorrow.
On the other hand, do note also that the Redmi 1S will not be the only Xiaomi device coming our way this month. The larger Redmi Note will be coming our way in another two weeks on July 22 at a retail price of RM509. Featuring a MediaTek octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras, customers looking for a decent smartphone at a decent price will have quite a headache come the end of July.
