After showing off a rather interesting integrated “Android Everything” approach at Google I/O this year, LG have announced that they would be joining the Open Automotive Alliance, being the first smartphone manufacturer to raise their hand at the chance to be a part of this initiative.
LG joins a host of companies such as Panasonic, Audi, NVIDIA and many others on this panel. There is no news at the moment with which handsets will work with Android Auto but the future is definitely a bright one for Google and Android.
