Looks like Adidas may be ready to release a new fitness band. Thanks to leaks at the FCC and fitness store Keller Sports, we have our first glimpse at Adidas’ new smartband: the miCoach Fit Smart. With a LED dot display and quick clasp system it retains more of a smartwatch form factor than a band. From the back it looks as though it will have a heartrate monitor too.
On top of this, it’s worth noting that Adidas was announced as a partner for Google fit during the recent I/O 2014 keynote so it’s exciting to see what they can come up with for this. Since Nike has slowed the FuelBand production and development, this seems to be prime time for Adidas to capitalize.
