The Electronic Entertainment Expo kicked off and there have already been many reveals about games being available starting immediately. The biggest of which is the closed beta for Battlefield Hardline; which is starting up the closed beta test today for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.Developed by Visceral Games, Battlefield Hardline takes players away from the military aspect of first person shooters and is instead set in a world of cops vs robbers. It still features levelution events, although it is not likely to be on the scale of Battlefield 4. After all, this is a matter of civilian urban warfare.

A new feature of the game is the option for the police forces to taser criminals and interrogate them for information. Doing this will reveal the location of the criminal team for a limited amount of time. Asymmetrical teams and objectives are also being implemented in Battlefield Hardline, as there will be missions for criminals to commit crimes while the police attempt to stop them.
Put this way, it does sound a little like the Payday series; only with helicopters and vehicles that move. Those interested in the beta can check out the Battlefield Hardline website.
