Blizzard is offering a massive amount of money for the best Hearthstone world championship at BlizzCon 2014. A total prize pool of US$250,000 is being offered to the finalists, with the overall champion taking US$100,000 home. However, only 16 players will qualify for the finals.
Qualifiers will be held in Europe, America, China, and Korea-Taiwan; and four players from each of the regions will advance to the main event at BlizzCon later this year. Each region will have a different pool of players who will be able to participate in; although Blizzard makes it clear that not all countries are eligible for entry. Fortunately, Malaysia is included in the list of countries which are covered under the American region.
There will be 130 players invited for the American Qualifier Tournament, and the quickest way in is to be a Top 16 ranked player for the months of April, May, June, July, or August. There will also be a last call tournament held just before the Qualifier tournament for those who want last ditch effort to get into the BlizzCon finals.
