In addition to the Mi 3, Xiaomi will also be launching its highly popular Mi Power Bank. The accessory, which carries a charge of 10,400mAh, will be available on May 20 for only RM36.
Based on the info provided by the Xiaomi Malaysia website – which has just gone live – the Mi Power Bank’s 10,400mAh charge can not only fully charge the Mi 3 2.5 times, but it will also charge the iPhone 5s 4.5 times over. The battery cells, which are made from LG and Samsung, also have a conversion rate of 93% and 10% better output efficiency.
Barely the size of your palm, the Mi Power Bank’s casing is fully made from anodized aluminium, which can withstand 50kg of pressure. Utilizing chips from Texas Instruments, the power bank also sports nine layers of protection, from temperature resistance to overvoltage protection mechanisms.
The Mi Power Bank will be available in seven colours, though it is likely that colour choices in the first batch will be limited to just Silver. But who cares? At RM36 for a premium power bank, Xiaomi may have just put some companies out of business with the Mi Power Bank.
