After keeping Malaysian HTC fans on the edge of their seats for the longest time HTC has finally announced the availability of the HTC One M8 locally. The HTC One M8 is possibly one of the most anticipated and praised phones out there giving its closest rival the Samsung Galaxy S5 a run for its money.
Specifications
Specs wise, the HTC One M8 is as top of the line as expected, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz Quad-Core processor, 2GB RAM and 5Inch Full HD Super LCD 3 screen. As with its predecessors it features the 4MP UltraPixel camera that people either love or hate. Interested to find out how the HTC One M8 fared in our tests? Review
If you’ve read our hands-on preview of the HTC One (M8), you’ll know exactly how I feel about the new flagship smartphone from HTC. This device just begs to be taken out and used in public. The One doesn’t just attract attention, it demands it. It is such a handsome device, with its all-metal body, hairline brush finish coupled with beautifully curved and tapered edges that make it arguably the best designed smartphone we’ve ever seen. Period.
Camera Comparison
After some feedback from the last camera test, we decided to do one pitting the 2 most talked about flagship phones to the test against each other in a side by side photo comparison! Both cameras were shot at full auto and the S5 pictures were cropped according to the lower resolution M8′s crop in mind and so the S5 will be higher resolution than the M8. Click each of the images to view 100% resolution.
The HTC One M8 is available immediately at a retail price of RM2,399.
