For the impulse shopper in everyone, Amazon’s latest feature allows you to add items to your cart from the safety of your twitter timeline. After connecting your twitter account to Amazon, you can reply to any tweet containing an Amazon link with the hashtag #AmazonCart in the US or #AmazonBasket in the UK and it automatically inserts the item into your shopping cart.
If you are prone to tweetjacks, don’t worry none of the actual purchasing can be done via twitter so you’re safe from accidentally paying for a lifetime supply of pencil lead or something along those lines.
