Despite its competitors like Google already offering such a service, Skype has always maintained group video calls as part of a value added service which costs US$8.99 per month or US$4.99 per day. Skypes video calling allows you to participate in group video calls with up to 10 people using PCs or Macs and this service will be available for FREE from today across all platforms like the Xbox One. Microsoft’s change in policy is part of a broader push by the company to position Skype more competitively against rivals.
