Seeing as how the mobile industry is leaning ever so slightly to the 2K display trend in their handsets, its no surprise when it gets out that Samsung is also working on a variant of their flagship smartphone the Galaxy S5. According to the guys over at BGR, the SM-G906K or the purported Galaxy Prime was seen on Indian Import Site Zauba after having a little time in the sun in a GFXBench Benchmark test.
While images showing the phone aren’t available yet, the earlier GFXBench sighting revealed the main hardware for the SM-G906S version of the handset. Specs include a 5.2-inch display with 2560 x 1440, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 16-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
As for all rumours, it’s just that until we get a concrete bit of news. Until then, take it with a pinch of salt as usual.
