Love Google’s camera app on Nexus devices and wish that your Android device can enjoy the same exciting features like Photo Sphere and such? No problem, Google has just released its Camera app into the Play Store, available for any devices running on Android 4.4 and above.
The app doesn’t seem to be compatible with any devices under my list, including my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that is running on Android 4.4.2 so we can’t test it out just yet, but according to Android’s Google+ Page, the Google camera app comes with many features such as:
- Photo Sphere – Immersive 360 degree photo spheres let you look up, down and all around in up to 50MP
- Improved Panorama – New higher resolution panoramas capture the full width and detail of a scene
- Lens Blur – Similar to many Lytro-like feature found on current flagship smartphones, Lens Blur allows you to capture images now and pick your focus point after that. It can also give you an SLR-like shot with shallow depth-of-field.
- 100% viewfinder – Get the maximum resolution from the sensor with no dropped pixels
- Updated UI – Larger capture button to make capturing images much easier
Check the app out now on the Play Store or visit Android Google+ Page to find out more about the camera app.
