U Mobile may be a late player in this whole Samsung Galaxy S5 telco bundle but it looks like the wait will be worth it after all…for U Mobile loyal customers at least. The telco is now teasing that they start offering the Galaxy S5 on 25 April 2014 with no upfront payment required when you sign up, meaning you only pay for the subsidized price of the device.
No further details have been unveiled, but if the “no upfront payment” promotion is similar to what they have done with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 bundle, in order to be eligible, you will have to pay for the device via credit card, and subscribe to Auto Debit for monthly access fee.
Retailing at RM2,399, the Samsung Galaxy S5 has just been launched into the market worldwide on 11 April 2014 and is available from all authorized resellers in Malaysia, as well as from the other major postpaid players in Malaysia – DiGi, Maxis and Celcom.
If you wish to purchase it with a U Mobile postpaid plan, 25 April 2014 is the date to mark on your calendar, and while you’re waiting, check out our review of the latest flagship smartphone from Samsung, visit our telco price comparison post to see what the others are offering, or check out our mega roundup post about the Galaxy S5 and find out everything you need to know about the phone.
