4G broadband provider Yes has officially launched #YesToRio, an online contest that will send two grand prize winners on an all expense paid trip to watch the World Cup 2014 final in Brazil. The contest consists of a series of three fun web-based games; with the winner determined from a combined score from all three of the games.
These football themed games are completely browser based, and are designed to function on smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Currently, only the first game, “What A Save!” of the series is available, with the other two scheduled to be released later in the contest period.
To join, participants will have to “like” the official Yes Facebook page and then sign up to play at the #YesToRio website. Existing Yes subscribers will be able to enter their Yes ID to obtain an additional 10% bonus points to their score; as well as enjoying reload bonus points for each purchase of Yes Credit. Valuepack, Datapack, Campuspack and SuperBooster.
#YesToRio actually began on 18 March 2014, but is scheduled to run until 31 May 2014. After the contest period, the top thirty participants on the leaderboards will be invited to participate in the #YesToRio final event in June.
