Part of Samsung’s extravaganza at CES 2014 earlier this year, the company is gearing up to launch its new curved UHD TV in Malaysia this April according to the media invite that has just landed into our mail box. Judging from the launch venue which is located right in the middle of Pavilion KL, it seems like members of the public will be able to experience the new curved UHD TV personally as well.
That being said, we currently have no idea on which curved UHD TV model that Samsung Malaysia will showcase at the launch or release into our market. At CES 2014, Samsung launches the new U9000 curved UHD TV series which is available as 78-inch, 65-inch, and 55-inch models alongside a 105-inch curved UHD TV that is claimed to be the largest in the world.
The company then brought up the U9000 series once again in front of the South East Asian media at the recent Samsung SEA Forum 2014 in Bali as shown above. We expect the availability and pricing for Samsung’s new curved UHD TV to be revealed at the launch event in Pavilion KL, so stay tuned for that on 15 April.
