If you’re wondering if all the leaks you’ve been seeing about a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 device is true, like the one shared by @evleaks earlier today, the answer is yes. At the on-going Malaysian launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5, and the new Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear Fit, Samsung wrote in the press release that the Gear Fit will be compatible with upcoming devices in 2014 including the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0.
Unfortunately, details about the upcoming tablets from Samsung are scarce at the moment, but according to the rumors that have been circulated in the internet, the Tab 4 7.0 is said to feature a WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Beneath the 7” display would be a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Camera wise, the back will have a 3MP snapper while the front will have a 1.3MP camera for selfies and video calls. The Tab 4 7.0 will be a very tiny bit smaller than the previous generation 7” tablet from the company, measuring at 106 x 187 x 8.9mm and will weigh 320 grams. It will also feature a large 4,450mAh battery.
We can’t be sure of the launch date, but from the picture shared by @evleaks, it could very well go official on 24 April 2014.
