When Google first announced Android Wear and its partnership with several manufacturers to make smartwatches running on its platform, LG was among one of the first to announce its smartwatch, the LG G Watch. If you’ve been waiting to see what the company has got to offer, here’s a brand new teaser shared by LG Electronics UK’s Twitter account, @LGUK, saying that the LG G Watch will be coming soon.
As you can see from the picture, the G Watch looks pretty much the same as the existing smartwatches we’ve been seeing so far, with a small little square display. No further information has been given, but from the picture, it does look pretty slim and should fit better than the Samsung Galaxy Gear or the Sony Smartwatch 2; I can’t help but feel a little disappointed at the same old design but I blame Motorola and its sexy Moto 360 announcement.
The LG G Watch is scheduled to be unveiled in the second quarter of 2014 but don’t get your hopes up too high, Malaysian consumers, LG Mobile does not seem like they’re very keen on bringing devices to our market in a timely manner so if it ever gets launched in Malaysia, it might take a while.
