Google Now may be a creepy service that is able to stalk your every move and provide you with the information you need before you even need to ask but there’s no denying that it’s a brilliant tool that keeps your life organized. Google has just rolled out an update bringing Google Now to its Chrome browser, making its virtual assistant tool even more useful for users.
The Mountain View company has just brought Google Now to its Chrome browser for Windows and Mac, allowing you to have access to all the important information at the comfort of your own seat. Google Now for Chrome has been around for a little while now, but only for beta user. The update today brings Google Now to the final version of Google Chrome, giving users access to the search and virtual assistant services right on their desktop.
It’s not available for me yet (at the time of writing), but according to Google, you will see more or less everything you see on your mobile including cards for the traffic condition, weather, sports scores, event reminders and such. Some cards will use the location of your mobile device but others will work independent of location.
Google Now on Chrome will be rolled out over the next few weeks so if you don’t see it yet, be patient and wait for your turn. Do you have Google Now on your Chrome browser yet and will you use it if you do?
