The Samsung Galaxy S5 is set to be launched in Malaysia on the of 27th March, weeks ahead of the international release date. Maxis began teasing the release yesterday, and DiGi has already started its registration of interest three days ago. Although it will probably take a few weeks for the actual device to arrive in stores.
Samsung’s next generation smartphone will arrive with a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM on board. It will also feature a 5.1” Full HD Super AMOLED display, 16MP rear camera, a revamped TouchWiz UI, supports Cat4 LTE, has a fingerprint and heart-rate sensor on board, and comes in a water- and dust-resistant build rated at IP67.
