The highly anticipated Watch Dogs now has a release date, after spending several extra months in development. Fans of the game will be able to pick the game up on 27 May for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A Wii U version will be released at a later date, but chances are nobody will notice.
Ubisoft has also announced DLC for both the PS3 and PS4 version of the game. Those who buy the PlayStation version of the game will be able to download an additional 60 minutes of gameplay over the PlayStation Network. There is no news about extras for those who buy the game on other platforms yet, although there is plenty of time for future updates.
The game was expected to be released in November 2013, but was delayed by Ubisoft for additional development. Fans were more than willing to wait to avoid the trend of rushing games out of development to meet deadlines.
