Continuing Nokia’s coverage of the budget market is the Asha 230. It’s being positioned as the best entry level smartphone for people who want to make the upgrade to a full touch device. There is the usual suite of Asha apps and functions like Fastlane and the usual instant messaging apps (Line, WeChat, and WhatsApp). It also features a one touch sharing of camera pictures to social networks.
A coming software update to the Asha 230 will also provide users with 7GB of OneDrive storage, and the option to automatically backup photos to the cloud.
The Nokia Asha 230 is currently available across Asia-Pacific, Europe, India, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa in single and dual SIM configurations. Priced at EUR 45 (RM204), it is difficult to argue with the claim that it is the most affordable Asha yet.
