Both Grand Theft Auto V and Borderlands 2 are getting special DLC for Valentine’s Day. Oddly enough, both also involve massacres.
Entertaining Co-op shooter Borderlands 2 gets Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre for US$2.99 (RM9.95). It’s another Head Hunter mission similar to the Halloween special released last year. This time it appears that Moxxi is trying to force a re-enactment of Romeo and Juliet between two feuding clans. As usual, it provides a new area to travel to, and new weapons. Although the main draw of these things is the excellent writing and story that goes along with it. Moxxi’s adventure is already available for purchase.
Rockstar is being generous this time of year with free extra content for the GTA V online mode. The Valentine’s Day Massacre special provides players with 1920s gangster style gear, which includes dapper suits, a tommy gun, and a limousine. It also provides 10 new jobs to complete in the online arena. Most importantly, it will only be available to download for a limited period. Owners of GTA V can begin claiming their DLC on Friday.
