If you can recall from our report yesterday, Apple has listed DiGi as one of the LTE network that is supported by iPhone but somehow, not for iPad. Things have changed though as the iPad LTE list has now been updated to include DiGi as well.
According to the list, DiGi LTE is supported on the newer iPad Air, and iPad Mini with Retina Display that supports 2600 MHz spectrum. Additionally, DiGi LTE is also supported by the older iPad with Retina Display, and iPad Mini on 1800 MHz spectrum.
While this should be a great news for users with iPad that are running on DiGi’s network, we personally have yet to hear any mention of carrier update being pushed to iPad by the telco. Hence, do check it out if you are one of such users and share with us your speed test results in the comment section if you managed to connect to DiGi LTE’s network on your iPad.
Before that, you might need to change to DiGiNET+ SIM card first before you able to utilize DiGi’s LTE service. Yup.
