As promised in previous teaser, Microsoft today has unveiled the company’s first ever self-branded Lumia smartphone which is officially called Microsoft Lumia 535. Just like what has been rumoured before, this particular device is indeed a low-end smartphone but it does come with a surprise though.
The surprise comes in the form of a wide-angle 5-megapixels front camera which was carried over from the previously released Nokia Lumia 730 / 735 a.k.a the selfie Lumia phone.
Apart from the front camera, the new Lumia 535 is also equipped with a 5-inch 960×540 220ppi IPS display alongside a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, and microSD card slot that supports card with up to 128GB of storage. Yes, the Lumia 535 also comes with a 5-megapixels F2.4 auto-focus camera and LED flash on its rear as well.
The new device also comes pre-installed with Lumia Denim update which combines both Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 as well as several new and improved features that are exclusive to Lumia devices. It also features a 1905mAh battery that Microsoft claimed as able to provide the device up to 13 hours of 3G talk time and 23 days of standby time.

Available in single and dual SIM variants, the new Microsoft Lumia 535 will be released in selected markets starting from this month onwards with price tag of EUR 110 (RM 458). For further info, head on to its official website at microsoft.com.
