For those who have been eagerly waiting for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, it is finally released today; albeit only the limited Day Zero Edition. This limited-run edition of the game is available on both retail and digital edition today on all platforms; namely the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
The Day Zero Edition comes with 24 hours of early access to the game, double XP today, two custom weapons (the AK-12G Assault Rifle and Crossbow-B2), and the advanced arsenal pack, which includes a bullet brass exoskeleton (pictured above) and the infinite ammo weapon EM1 quantum. The video below elaborates more on what you’d get in the pack:
For those who are purchasing the digital edition on either the PS3 or Xbox 360, a free upgrade to the next-gen version is offered. This offer would only be valid until 31st March, 2015 – plenty of time to get it before it expires.
Naturally, the Malaysia PlayStation Store has yet to have it available for purchase. It is, however, available on the US PlayStation Store for $59.99 (RM198). If you have a US PlayStation account, just purchase the game with your US account while the Day Zero Edition is still available. The game would still be playable on both US and Malaysia accounts, although future purchases would have to be done with the US account.
For those of you who are wondering just how different is this 11th entry in the CoD franchise, check out the gameplay videos below. With Sledgehammer Games on the helm instead of Infinity Ward, it would be interesting to see what direction the co-developer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 would take with this title. As the first CoD title to be set in the future, this would surely provide a different experience for players.
