It looks like Sony has been very busy launching their IFA 2014 offerings here in Malaysia. The Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact arrived in Malaysia just a couple of weeks ago, the preorder for Sony Lens-style ILCE-QX1 camera started just last week and now, it’s the budget Android smartphone, the Xperia E3’s turn to reach our shore, with a retail price of RM659.
The Sony Xperia E3 is the latest addition to the company’s E-series mid-range Android smartphones. It has a 4.5” 854 x 480 display, making it slightly smaller than the flagship Xperia Z3 Compact. On the insides, it packs some mid-range hardware like a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Other specs include LTE connectivity, 5MP rear camera, 2330mAh battery and will run on Android 4.4 out of the box.
Visit Sony to find out more about the device. The Xperia E3 is not available on Sony Malaysia’s online store, so if you wish to get the device, a physical Sony store will be your best bet.
