So, Nexus 6 is not the only new device that Google has announced alongside the brand new Android 5.0 Lollipop today. There is also the brand new Google Nexus 9 which is a tablet made by HTC.
Powered by the 64-bit version of NVIDIA Tegra K1 which features a 2.3GHz CPU with dual Denver cores alongside a 192-cores GPU, the Nexus 9 is also equipped with 8.9-inch 2048×1536 IPS display and 2GB RAM. It also comes with two storage options: 16GB and 32GB.
Other than that, the tablet also offers an 8-megapixels F2.4 rear auto-focus camera with LED flash as well as a 1.6-megapixels F2.4 front facing fixed-focus camera. HTC has also brought over its BoomSound technology to the Nexus 9 tablet which comes standard with front-facing stereo speakers.
HTC has also designed optional accessory for Nexus 9 called the Keyboard Folio which is essentially an NFC-enabled wireless keyboard with adjustable stand for the tablet. While no pricing has been mentioned for the keyboard accessory, the Nexus 9 itself is priced at USD 399 (RM 1,308) for 16GB and USD 479 (RM 1,570) for 32GB with both being WiFi-only models.

For users that desire LTE connectivity, there is also the 32GB LTE variant which costs USD 599 (RM 1,964). Google has planned to release Nexus 9 in 29 countries starting with United States this coming November. So, let’s see if Malaysia is actually part of the list…
