September is a month filled with smartphone announcements and it looks like October will be a month filled with smartphone launches. Samsung has just announced that they will be launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in Korea this Friday, 26 September 2014, and will be launching to 140 countries by the end of October and judging from previous launches by Samsung, Malaysia will definitely be part of the list.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was unveiled earlier this month at Samsung’s Unpacked Episode 2 event in Berlin, Germany, along with the Galaxy Note Edge that features a curved display. On top of being bigger and better than the Galaxy Note 3, the Note 4 also features the brand new design found in the Galaxy Alpha, with a metal frame surrounding the soft touch faux leather back cover.
The Galaxy Note 4 has a large 5.7” Quad HD Super AMOLED display, which the company claims to offer up to 20% more colors in the RGB range. It is powered by either a 2.7GHz quad-core processor, or a 1.9GHz + 1.3GHz octa-core processor from the company. Both variants will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 64GB via its microSD slot.
Other specs include 16MP rear camera with smart OIS, 3.7MP front camera with Wide Selfie mode, 3,220mAh removable battery and of course, an improved S Pen with twice the pressure points and more functions.
