SNS Network has revealed the pricing for the first Intel powered Windows 8.1 tablet — the Joi 8 which is priced at an affordable price tag of RM499, making it the cheapest Microsoft powered tablet in the country.
The Joi 8 will boast a screen resolution of 1,280 x 800 across an 8-inch IPS display, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB internal storage with MicroSD card expansion. Additionally, a 5-megapixels main camera and a 2-megapixels front facing module. Under the hood is an Intel Atom quad-core processor that is powering the device, however, both companies — Intel nor SNS Network haven’t specify which variation of the Intel Atom processor the device is using.
In addition to the good deal, Microsoft will throw in 1-year subscription of Microsoft Office 365 Personal to every purchase of the Joi 8 tablet.
