We all knew that Apple will be revising its iCloud storage to offer consumers a much, much cheaper price than before and if you’ve been waiting for the company to announce the price, here it is. Apple is now offering iCloud storage in 6 tiers including the first 5GB that is offered for free, with upgrade options from 20GB all the way up to a whopping 1TB.
In our cloud storage price comparison post, we saw that Apple is offering one of the most expensive cloud storage service however, because of all the new competitive prices – Google Drive is one of the most cheapest and most reputable, and Dropbox recently received a significant price drop, it looks like the Cupertino company has got no other choice but to follow suit.
The new iCloud storage plans are as follows:
- 5GB – Free
- 20GB – USD$0.99/month
- 200GB – USD$3.99/month
- 500GB – USD$9.99/month
- 1TB – USD$19.99/month
