LG had released a promo video that showcases its lineup of the G3 phones — the G3, G3 Beat, and the new LG G3 Stylus.
The company has taken a different approach in the new promo video, which is rather fun and quirky as compared to usual slow-mo cliches in monochromatic environments. The commercial goes by a little plot line about a character named Emma and her social life, and of course her phone, in which case, the LG G3 Beat. Notably, it would totally not be as hilarious as it is without the weird Spanish narrator with his rusty deep voice.
Unofficially Uploaded Video
Although the storyline in the commercial features only the LG G3 Beat, it mainly revolves around the whole G3 lineup by LG. It is pretty entertaining as well as funny for the most part of the video, and right at the end, we are presented with an animation of three LG G3 lineup phones that appear right before it shows the LG logo. In addition to both the LG G3 that we are familiar with, and the LG G3 Beat which had been announced a few weeks ago, LG teases the G3 Stylus next to the two phones. It looks almost exactly like the G3 except it is in a phablet form factor with a built-in stylus holder.
The promo video was getting pretty popular, however, LG has taken its official video off the web. For some reason, LG did not specify why for pulling down the video. It could probably be due to an unintended glimpse of the company’s unannounced device in which case, the LG G3 Stylus. Nevertheless, we did salvage the exact video that has unofficially uploaded on Youtube.
The phablet looks a tad bigger than the original G3 and seems to have a bigger screen too, which makes proper sense given that there must be space to house its stylus. The stylus is to be drawn out of the device from the top and it seems like it does not have a refined pen-like tip.
Other differences pointed out from the G3 Stylus also include the absence of the laser focus sensor, and a single LED flash instead of a dual element flash. Both features of which can be found in its smaller siblings.
We have yet to see more information from LG as no formal announcement has been made yet. Now that LG is going to have its own slate for the phablet market, it would likely go head to head with the speculated Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
