If there’s one game title that goes side by side with Xbox consoles, that would be the Halo series and fans of the series should be delighted with this news. In the fall of 2015, the long-running video games series for Xbox will receive yet another new installment and it is called Halo 5: Guardians.
Developed by 343 Industries, the game is meant for Xbox One (as expected) and Bonnie Ross, the studio’s General Manager has stated that Halo 5 is a “bigger effort” than Halo 4 in relation to both the scope and the technology part of the game since the game is made for Microsoft’s latest game console. That being said, certain core elements will be brought over to Halo 5 from previous Halo games.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has announced that the live-action Halo television series will be released at around the same time as Halo 5. If you keeping track, you might be aware that the series will be produced by Steven Spielberg as per what Microsoft revealed last year at its E3 briefing. The new Halo TV series will apparently stand by itself although Bonnie stated that

More details about the TV series will be revealed close to its target release date but nevertheless, we believe Microsoft will certainly have things to say regarding it alongside Halo 5 at E3 2014 early next month.
