Sony Mobile Malaysia this morning has just unveiled the retail price of the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra phablet that was announced right after CES earlier this year. The 6” device packs some pretty impressive mid-range specs under its gigantic hood and the best part? It retails at only RM1,299; it looks like the retail price of Sony Mobile’s devices revealed by a Malaysian bank is true after all.
The price was unveiled in Sony Mobile MY’s Facebook page earlier this morning, saying that the Xperia T2 Ultra (should be the single SIM version) is now available nationwide at RM1,299. It wil also come with 6 months free music unlimited subscription powered by Akazoo starting 1st April, and 3 movies downloadable via Privilege Movies starting 1st May 2014.
Back to the phone, the Xperia T2 Ultra features a 6” Triluminos display with a resolution of 720 x 1280. Measuring at 7.6mm thin, it is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD. Other specs includes a “best in class” 13MP rear shooter with Exmor RS mobile sensor, 1.1MP front camera with Exmor R sensor, NFC, LTE, and a 3,000mAh battery on board.
