Huawei Malaysia earlier today has revealed that it will be releasing the brand new Huawei Honor 3C in our market very soon. The 5-inch 720p smartphone carries a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor and has been seen by some as a very close competitor to Xiaomi’s line of affordable quad-core smartphones.
The Huawei Honor 3C is also equipped with dual-SIM capability and 2GB of RAM as well as a 5-megapixels front-facing camera alongside an 8-megapixels Sony sensor for its rear camera and 2300mAh battery. Malaysian variant will apparently comes with 8GB of internal storage and it is set to be released on 29 April.
According to our own sources in the distribution channel, it has been touted to carry a price tag of under RM 600 as the news of the device imminent arrival into Malaysia has begun to be whispered in the circle since few months ago. However, the actual RRP has yet to be confirmed as far as official information is concerned.
Nevertheless, consider this as a hint for those who are planning to enter this contest. At that price range, I supposed that the Huawei Honor 3C will go head to head against the newly launched ASUS ZenFone 5 which carries the same price tag. This is definitely going to be interesting.
Meanwhile, do check out several details and brief look at Huawei Honor 3C by our forumers that were invited to the device’s preview session by Huawei Malaysia last weekend.
