Malaysia Airlines has confirmed that flight MH370 enroute to Beijing has lost contact with Air Traffic controllers at 2.40am this morning. The 12.41am flight which left KLIA was expected to land at Beijing at 6.30am. The B777-200 aircraft was carrying 227 passengers including two infants, and 12 crew members. Malaysia Airlines have confirmed that authorities have activated a search and rescue procedure for the missing aircraft.
