It looks like according to Samsung, size clearly does matter. Today we had the chance to sit down with Samsung’s latest member of the Note family: the 12.2inch Galaxy NotePro. Sporting a 12.2Inch WQXGA Widescreen 16:10 display offering a very impressive 2560 x 1600 resolution which, when put into perspective is just shy of an Apple Macbook Pro 15inch Retina’s maximum resolution. Its other specs are nothing to turn your nose up at either.
Powered by a Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and Adreno 330 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM the Note 12.2 is definitely at the top end of the technology scale. The NotePro also supports LTE and has an 8MP rear camera as well as a 2MP front camera and 32GB of internal memory, expandable by microSD card of course. Rounding it up, a mammoth device like this certainly needs needs a heck of a lot of power and the NotePro has an equally gigantic 9,500mAh battery and is surprisingly light considering the size.
Making its debut in March 2014, the NotePro will be available for RM2,999, a clear premium price range, but with the features included, it does make sense to an extent. The NotePro will be available in Black & White as well as several optional accessories like the LAN Hub, Bluetooth Keyboard, S Action Mouse and HDTV Adaptor.
