Mobile World Congress 2014 may be a week away but LG does not want to keep you in suspense with the mobile devices they have to offer for the year. On top of the top-of-the-line LG G Pro 2 that was announced last week, the South Korean company has also got something for the low- and mid-range market – the LG L Series III namely the LG L90, L70 and L40.
All three handsets will run on Android 4.4 out of the box but what sets them apart is that the L90 comes with the largest display among all of 4.7” with 540 x 960 pixels. With HSPA+ connectivity on board, it sports an 8MP rear shooter, 1.3MP front camera, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, and has 8GB of internal storage. The L70 on the other hand comes with a 4.5” 400 x 800 display on board with HSPA+, 8MP/5MP rear camera (varies between market), VGA front camera, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and 2,100mAh battery. The L40 is the lowest-end with a 3.5” 320 x 480 display, HSDPA, 3MP rear camera, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage and up to 1,700mAh battery on board.
While these smartphones may be labeled as budget phones, they are made from the best of LG when it comes to material, patterns and manufacturing processor, featuring the premium design elements of the G series.
