What could make a ridiculously expensive smartphone like the Vertu Ti, the first Android powered smartphone from the premium phone manufacturer, even more expensive than it already is? Release a limited edition of course, Vertu recently announced that Verti Ti is available in Sunset Red or Midnight Blue calf leather, with only 1,000 units of each color options.
Apart from the color, everything else on the device is pretty much the same as the standard edition with hand-crafted, matt grey titanium finish. Just to refresh you a little just in case you’ve forgotten about the device over the month, Vertu Ti features a 3.7” touch sapphire display, runs on Android 4.0 and is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 64GB of storage on board. It packs a 8MP camera at the back and as with all Vertu devices, it comes with access to Vertu Concierge, a premium club exclusively available to Vertu owners.
As for the price tag, the original Vertu Ti costs about EUR 7,900 (RM33,180) and this limited edition ones are EUR 1,000 more expensive at EUR 8,900 (RM37,380).
