Just a couple of days ago, Nokia sent out an invitation for an event in New York, which will be happening on 11 July 2013. The invitation had a tagline that read “Zoom. Reinvented” with nothing else except for the date and venue of the event which allows you to “See more from Nokia”. The company has since then been speculated to be introducing its much talked about Nokia EOS device and it looks like it has been pretty much confirmed.
According to the latest teaser posted in Nokia’s very own blog, there are “41 Million Reasons” for you to be at the event, a 41MP camera perhaps? The Nokia EOS is expected to feature a 4.5” display at 768 x 1280 resolution with a pixel density of 332ppi. The back should pack the same 41MP camera found on the Nokia 808 PureView.
We recently seen before leaked images of what seems like the body of the Nokia EOS, looking pretty much the same as Lumia 920, making it a camera phone that is much, much smaller and slimmer than what Samsung recently announced – the Galaxy S4 Zoom. It looks like the competition for a top-of-the-line camera phone is going to be a very tough one, Sony is also rumored to be working on the Honami camera phone with some very promising specs in the hood, are you excited to see what they have to offer?
