Said to be the world’s first flicker-free VA (Vertical Alignment) LED monitor, BenQ today has launched its brand new BenQ GW2760HS VA LED monitor here in Malaysia. While today is the first time that the new 27-inch 1920×1080 16:9 monitor been introduced to the members of the media, it was already available in our market since last month.
The secret of the flicker-free capability on the new BenQ GW2760HS VA LED monitor lies on its backlight circuit controller which is claimed to be able to remove LED backlight flickering from any brightness level. While the monitor is claimed to be the first in the world to feature such technology with more models to be released in the market soon by BenQ, the flicker-free technology somehow is not owned by BenQ themselves.

With a response time of 4ms GtG, the new BenQ GW2760HS also brings together all the benefit of VA LED panel said to have such as deeper blacks, minimized light leakage, true 8-bit color performance and 178/178 viewing angle. The monitor also features 3000:1 native contrast, Eye Protect Sensor that adjust the monitor’s brightness according to ambient light, Smart Reminder that notified user to rest every 20 minutes and BenQ’s in-house Senseye 3 automated monitor optimizer.
