Ahead of the start of the E3 gaming convention that starts this week, Activision has released a 30-minute broadcast featuring an exclusive gameplay preview of the highly-anticipated “Call of Duty: Ghosts” title coming at the end of this year. The 30-minute “Call of Duty: Ghosts All Access” preview, according to Activision, offers an “unprecedented, unfiltered, behind the scenes” look at developer Infinity Ward’s latest first-person-shooter.
The all-new game engine is prominently featured in the gameplay sequences, with clips from the “Into the Deep” deep sea level. Another new feature is Riley, the player-controllable dog companion. Interestingly, Riley sports similar real-life equipment which allows Navy SEALs to remotely give instructions to their canine team members. The inclusion of Riley – who even has a Twitter account – looks set to bring an added dimension to the gameplay in a way that the Companion Cube did for Valve’s Portal FPS.
“Call of Duty: Ghosts” will be released worldwide on November 5 this year.
