Yesterday, Windows unveiled a lengthy four-minute video that demonstrated the new features that the first major update for the Windows 8 operating system has to offer. However, one major omission in the video was the return of the Start button and its new feature.
At a press event at Computex, Jensen Harris from the Windows User Experience team – the same person doing the demonstration in the video yesterday – finally showed off the new Start screen and its new functionality, which brings greater visual synergy between the desktop mode and Start screen.
